Hewer ("Hewer", "we", "us") is a multi-tenant field-service CRM platform operated by Hewer LLC, a Florida limited liability company. Companies that license Hewer to run their own business ("Tenants") administer accounts for their employees, contractors, and clients. By signing in you agree to these terms.
Subscribing to Hewer for your business? Your subscription is governed by the Hewer Subscription Agreement, which covers billing, your data, phone numbers and texting, and payments you collect.
1. Account use
Accounts are provisioned by the Tenant that administers your workspace, not by Hewer directly. Sharing credentials or attempting to access another user's data is grounds for immediate termination.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload illegal content, malware, or content that infringes third-party rights
- Probe the system for security vulnerabilities (please report any you find responsibly to security@hewer.app)
- Use Hewer to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages
3. Payments
Payments collected via Hewer are processed by Stripe. The Tenant is the merchant of record on each transaction. Disputes and refunds are governed by the Tenant's standard service contract executed at the start of each project; Hewer is not a party to those transactions.
4. Service availability
Hewer is provided as-is. We aim for 99.5% uptime but make no formal SLA. Crew time-tracking and photo uploads include offline support; other features may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance.
5. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of photos and content you upload. By uploading, you grant Hewer and your Tenant a non-exclusive license to use that content for the purpose of running the CRM and delivering the Tenant's services to you.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. On termination, the account is disabled within 24 hours; pending data-export requests are honored within 30 days; financial and project records are retained as required by applicable law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hewer's liability for any claim arising from the use of the platform is limited to the fees you paid for Hewer access in the prior 12 months.
8. Governing law
Florida law applies. Disputes resolve in the courts of Duval County, Florida.
9. SMS messaging program
Program operator. Each Tenant runs its own registered SMS program through Hewer. The Tenant's business name and number appear on every message sent from its workspace. Hewer provides the infrastructure (via Twilio); the messages are sent by the Tenant.
Program description: Tenants send transactional and customer-service SMS to clients who have opted in — appointment confirmations, estimate and invoice links, payment reminders, scheduling updates, project status notifications, and follow-up review requests. No promotional or marketing messages.
How to opt in: Submit the Tenant's contact form with the SMS-consent checkbox; text their published keyword to their business number; or provide your phone number in person or by phone with verbal consent.
Message frequency: Varies. A typical client receives 1–20 messages over the course of a project.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Neither Hewer nor the Tenant charges for the messages themselves; your carrier may bill standard SMS rates.
Customer support: Reply HELP to any SMS for support information, or email privacy@hewer.app.
How to opt out: Reply STOP to any SMS to unsubscribe at any time. You will receive a single confirmation message, after which no further SMS will be sent from that sender unless you re-opt-in.
Privacy: Hewer and its Tenants do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Supported carriers: Major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and other tier-2/3 carriers via Twilio. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
