The Hewer Trade Toolkit: free calculators for the trades
By the Hewer team · · 2 min read

The Hewer Trade Toolkit is a free set of field calculators built by people who work in the trades. Each tool answers one question you actually have on a job, fast, and draws the answer so you can check it by eye. No account, no ads, nothing to pay.

Built for the job site
- Fast answers. The result is at the top of the screen and updates as you type.
- A drawing with every answer. Stairs, walls, offsets and roofs are drawn to scale, so a wrong input looks wrong.
- Your units. Feet and inches to the sixteenth, decimal inches, or metric. Every tool works in all of them.
- Remembers your last job. Each tool keeps your last inputs, and a Recent row gets you back to them.
- Job folders and PDFs. Save layouts to a job folder and export them as one PDF to share with the customer or the crew.
- Reference sheets. A Reference tab holds quick cheat sheets that go with the tools.
- English, Spanish and Russian.

- BTU calculator for sizing a mini split or window unit.

How it connects to Hewer
The Toolkit is free on its own. Hewer, the contractor CRM, puts the same calculators in the crew app, next to the jobs, schedule and clock-in, so your crew has them where they already work. See the features or start a trial.
